Individual glazing bar systems involve narrow glazing stiles that are joined to sash or mainframe sections to form a "gridwork" of decorative bars, with individual panes of glass in each of the openings created. In aluminium joinery, individual glazing systems are largely based on their timber precursors, often being selected as a low-maintenance and more affordable option, a class above adhesive bar options.

Frontline Individually Glazed Products are constructed with a unique system of "lock-in" machine joints in the chosen design, forming a structural network of glazing bars with separate panes of glass between. PVC glazing wedge is used to trim the glazed perimeters. This UV stable glazing wedge can be colour coordinated to match a range of powdercoat options.

Choose from a range of designs with glazing bar options that can be incorporated into any product type. Colonial, federation and contemporary styles are offered as standard with custom designs available by request. It is recommended that glazing bar designs be discussed to ensure suitability to manufacturing requirements.

Increase your choice of glazing options. Each pane of glass is separate and can therefore be considered individually. This means that each product can include a range of glass types including patterned, coloured or machined edges such as bevelling. This also means that accidental damage can be repaired easily and economically without the need to reapply adhesive bars to the entire pane.

Security can be increased in cases where pane sizes will limit access. For example the standard colonial design uses a uniform grid of bars glazed with small panes of glass. If a pane is broken the remainder of the product stays intact. A potential intruder would need to undergo major deconstruction of the product to gain entry, most likely moving on to an easier target instead.
